Makenna came home from practice the other day and said "Guess what? The newspaper is going to do an article on the swim team in the newspaper. They came today and interviewed us...the weird thing is that they kept asking me a lot of questions."
The NEXT day Makenna was gone to the state swim meet when we got a phone call from a friend raving about the article on Makenna on the front page of the sports section in the Keene Sentinel! We were all very surprised when we saw the entire article was written about Makenna, the girl from a small town in Idaho, titled "SPUD STROKES"
We found the title to be pretty funny! Her enthusiasm for life has won over many people...
